My Review:

First of all, I have to tell  you that I had this review all ready to go.  I always like to do the outline of everything I want on the post, then do the review.  I did all that and went back to it again that night to make sure it was how I wanted it.  I decided to post it the next morning since I usually like to post my reviews in the morning.  Well, that was a mistake because blogger was down.  It came back up today.  Unfortunately, the review part of my post I had saved is gone. I am going to re-do my review, but I am sure it won't be exactly the same as what I had written.

Oh was this book ever a breath of fresh air for me!  I've never read anything by Elaine Flowers before.  After reading this book, I can tell you that it sure won't be my last!

Never As Good As The First Time was my first introduction to Elaine Flowers and her writing.  I loved this story!  Melinda and Germaine really thought they could have their cake and eat it too.  They thought hey, what's wrong with meeting up every two years and having a fling together.  Melinda loved her husband, but he really could have been more adventurous in the bedroom.  I'm not saying that makes it okay to do what she did, but come on and live a little Bernard.  He did scare me a little too though.  You will probably need a kleenex for this one because what happened toward the end of the story really made me tear up.

The Letter was a very short story, by short I am talking 10 pages.  Even though it was short, it was such a sweet story about a man finding a letter and getting all excited about getting together with the person who wrote it.  He had quite a surprise in store for him, and so did the author of the letter!

Daddy's Maybe was also an awesome story. Kendra was cheating on her husband with Brad.  She had cheated on him before, but they moved to a new town and he thought maybe her cheating ways were done.  Anyway, the end of this story was very shocking!

Elaine Flowers is definitely an author to watch!  I loved this book so much, and I am looking forward to reading her other two books that I have on my bookshelf!  I am very impressed by her writing and how she created characters that really came to life for me.  I didn't have any problem getting into each story and then going to the next.  I would highly recommend this book!

My Rating: 5/5 diamonds - Loved it and highly recommend!
