My Rating:  4/5 diamonds

About the book:
Restless spirits of the dead, torment the living for many reasons. But the dark hunters seek one thing.  It is not God’s blessing, but a soul for eternity.

Sarah, They're Coming for YouFor years, Sarah was tormented by these seekers.  Each passing year they gained strength.  Guided by her great great grandfather Hermann-who intercedes on her behalf-Sarah had faith, but now, she feels her faith in Hermann is slipping, and she grows spiritually weaker.

When a mysterious woman—a link from the past—enlightens Sarah of her journey, every thing falls into place.  Sarah has a connection  between her ancestral family and her own haunting from the rogue ghosts in the after life.  They seek her in order to claim two family members with a single soul.

One thing left to do for Sarah.  Go to the family home in Austria and face the ghosts head on, or lose her soul forever. (source:

My Thoughts:
I was amazed when I read that this story was based on true events from Susan Kronick's life!  I was very excited to review this book!

I have to admit here that I do believe in ghosts.  Of course, I would never tell my children that. I always tell them there is no such thing, but I think they can feel it.   When I was growing up in my childhood home, I had an experience where I was laying in my bed and I felt something "sit" on the covers on top of my legs.  I assumed it was my dog.  I looked, but nothing was there.  I was so freaked out that I pulled the covers over my head and prayed I would be able to fall asleep. My room was by the attic too!  When I got married, we  lived in a trailer on some property.  The man next door died, and I could feel a presence after that for a while.  We moved into a house after a while.  After we first moved in, I saw shadows.  Now I have to tell you that my husband totally did not believe in ghosts until we moved into our house.  He saw the shadows too!  After a while, they stopped. Oh, and our dog would NOT go down to or near the basement.  He refused.  I even tried to pick him up and take him down, and he jumped out of my arms.  He will go down there now though.  The ghost must like us I guess!  Oh yeah, and one place I used to work.  I would work late at night by myself and I would hear something fall in the basement, or footsteps across the room.  I used to take my daughter to work with me after she was born up until she was 6 months, then she went to daycare.  Sometime later I brought her to work with me.  That day, the door opened up by itself.  I assumed it was the ghost just coming to check in on the little one!

Okay, well back to the book.  Susan Kronick did an awesome job with this book!  She knows a lot about the different types of ghosts!  I was highly entertained and educated while I was reading her book!  I was really hoping that whatever ghosts were bothering her would just stop.  She really made the story come alive with her trip to Austria!  Oh, and her husband, he sounds like my husband.  He thought she was crazy, but he went along with her wishes to travel to Austria.  No, he didn't go with her...are you kidding.  Read the book to see who she did go with and what the outcome was!

If you like to read about the paranormal, then I highly recommend this book to you!

  1. I'm with you...I believe in spirits that just have gotten stuck and not crossed over! Sounds like great read!
