My Review of Draw by J-Real

Draw
 Draw by J-Real

This is another author I was lucky enough to find on Facebook.  I ordered this signed book from his website at realinkpublishing.com.  He even lives in Detroit, Michigan!

I was well known throughout the hood because of my brother.  His name was Terrell, but the streets knew him as Pharaoh.  He had the drug game on lock and was one of the most paid niggas in New York.  Everybody knew Pharaoh. (p.4)

This is Serious talking.  He is Terrell's brother.  He was taught by Terrell that he always needs to be loyal to his friends no matter what (p.7).  He found out that his brother got into some big trouble.  Read the book to see what kind of trouble he got into and what street life is like.

Here is a little bit about the author from his website:

Jreal was born and raised in Yonkers, New York.  Jreal’s ambition and passion to express his life experiences led him to write urban fiction from a perspective as a student of the vast literary world. Taking his drive and creativity, Jreal decided to put his vivid imagination to work and began writing about life street life from all aspects not just the glorification but the real life situations and consequences that take place amongst the urban dwellers.  Jreal enjoys writing and is currently working to build his own Company, Real Ink Publishing as well as be a positive figure for the youth in his community.

From reading this book I could see what street life was like and what they had to do to survive on a daily basis.  I was very surprised though about the very end and do want to read Draw 2!

4 out of 5 diamonds!
Really liked it!
