Review of Once a Witch:

Once a Witch by Carolyn MacCullough

Seventeen year old Tamsin Greene is an outcast in her family. She comes from a long line of talented witches, but she seems to have no talent or powers of her own. She went to a boarding school in Manhattan, but returns home to work at the family bookstore during the summer. A man comes in to the bookstore and asks for help in finding an item, but he asks for Tamsin’s older sister Rowena. Tamsin pretends to be Rowena and tells him she will help him. Luckily, Tamsin's childhood friend Gabriel comes back to live with her family and his Talent is finding lost objects. He agrees to help her and they decide to try to locate what the professor asked her to find.

This was a good book. It was different in that each witch had their own special power. There was so much to this book, and I did read it very quickly. It definately leaves you hanging at the end, so hopefully there will be another book to follow!

  3. I liked this one too! Also, there is going to be a sequel. I think it's going to be called Always a Witch, but I'm not 100% sure.
